layout stuff

Would LOVE to see something that can anchor spells window or view key window to open in 1 place. Right now the windows cascade, if we could anchor them say to an open area of our screen everytime (we would set this by dragging the said window to that area after initial opening) This would make my life easier

You can save configurations

when you save a configuration (layouts/save) any open windows are saved. I think that would help.

New stuff

Thought is was time to updated this (well about 4 months late actually!)

Here's the list for version 2.x.x.x:

  • Make networking work properly in Beta (somehow this got left behind)
  • Change the mod to allow easier moving and re-sizing of screen elements.
  • Add more inteligence in the way the mod does alerts.

Here's the list for version 3.x.x.x:

  • Change the way we use targeting of all spells to match group spell logic (will save keypool and allow more scope for dynamic targeting)
  • Add more target variables ($Target1 thru $Target10) and allow these to be set based on mouse region or key press - this will allow a more point and click oriented command structure.
  • Add "addons" capability - this will allow other programmers to extend GCP.
  • Create a toolbar addon as an open source project - this will add a capability to have multi-level toolbars outside the WoW window, and also provide an example of how an "addon" works.
  • Enhanced key mapping - this will add an extra dimension to what happens when you hit a certain key.
  • Externalize the WoW specific bits (make them into addons and publish the source code)
  • Enhance the spell rotation editor

Once we have the addons feature up and running, we'll be looking for people to invent and write them.

We will add an "Addon Marketplace". In this you can:

  1. Place your mod, along with a price (which can be free)
  2. Request a mod.
  3. Advertise your ability to write addons (you need .net skills)
  4. Advertise your need for an addon programmer (if you have a great idea and need help in making it happen)
We will also add a addon developer support forum for the programmers (or budding programmers) amongst you.
